San Diego,

here we come!

San Diego mosaic illustrations by Nick Misani p/c: Mosaic Illustration by Nick Misani

It has been over 26 months
since we have had a
couples getaway, just us.

You must be thinking,
“Wow…you are crazy exact!”
Well, that is because our
daughter is 26 months. LOL.
True life of parents right?!

Before we had our daughter, Tenley,
Brett + I used to go on
mini roadtrips all the time.
Road trips were our “date nights.”

We used to love driving along the
California coast. There is something so
beautiful about California. You can
drive an hour away and feel like you
are in a totally different place.

I always feel like there is something new to discover here.
So, naturally we decided we
needed these road trip dates again!

ready, set…
let’s go!!!

quick “pit stop” before North Park!

Encinitas

As we traveled from Malibu to San Diego,
We made our first stop in San Diego
county in the beautiful city of Encinitas.

at the top of Moonlight Beach!

It’s a romantic spot, without getting sand in between your toes.
