Note: After downloading the file(s), upload them into Cricut Design Space. For the Background Remover step, scroll down and select Manual. Use the select tool to remove any extra parts that you don’t want your Cricut to cut. Upload as a single-layer image, and you’re good to go!

Tutorial: How to Make A Coloring Tablecloth

Step 1: Prep your tablecloth
Iron your tablecloth to get a nice, smooth surface. This also helps prep your vinyl to stick better and last longer!

Step 2: Upload your downloaded images to Cricut Design Space
Use the Thanksgiving image files that you downloaded (located above under materials) and upload them Cricut Design Space. This is a software that is included with your Cricut. Feel free to play around with sizing, placement, etc. Have fun designing your tablecloth.

Step 3: Cut the vinyl
Load your black iron-on vinyl onto the Cricut grip mat, shiny side down. Send your design to the Cricut to cut.

Step 4: Weed and Press
Weed your vinyl carefully, then place it face-down on your tablecloth. Place your Easy Press Mat under your tablecloth where you will place each image. Work slowly, one image at a time. Move your Easy Press Mat, as you go with each image. Use the Mini Press to transfer each image design.

Step 5: Color and enjoy!
Set out a bunch of washable markers on the kids’ table, and let the creativity begin! The kids will stay entertained while the grown-ups dig into that second helping of stuffing.

Note: If you want to wash the tablecloth, wait after 24 hours to let the vinyl really set in.

Why You’ll Love This Project

It’s reusable! Just wash with cold water and let it air dry.
It’s a fun tradition you can bring out every Thanksgiving.
It makes your kids’ table look like you totally have it all together (even if you don’t 😉).

Trust me, this coloring tablecloth is going to be a hit—and you’re going to be the coolest Thanksgiving host ever!
